I'm a Cape Town–based illustrator with a soft spot for wet noses and waggy tails. Every portrait is digitally crafted from your photo, printed on archival-quality paper, and framed by hand.

FAQ & Policies

How long does it take? +

Production takes 7–10 business days from the time you submit your order. Once your portrait is ready you'll receive a preview to approve. After approval, Cape Town deliveries take 1–2 business days and nationwide deliveries take 3–5 business days.

What if I don't love it? +

Every order includes unlimited free revisions on your preview. Once you're happy and approve it, we begin production. We want you to absolutely love it before a single thing gets printed.

How does delivery work? +

We offer two delivery options: Cape Town door-to-door (R150, 1–2 business days after dispatch) and Nationwide door-to-door (R250, 3–5 business days after dispatch). A tracking number is provided as soon as your order is dispatched.

Can I track my order? +

Yes! Once your portrait is dispatched you will receive a tracking number via email so you can follow your order every step of the way.

What photo works best? +

A clear, well-lit photo taken at your pet's eye level. See our 'How to take the perfect photo' guide above for more tips.

Can I order multiple pets in one portrait? +

Absolutely! You can add up to 4 pets in one portrait. Pricing is: 1 pet (standard price), 2 pets (+R200), 3 pets (+R300), 4 pets (+R400). Simply select the number of pets when placing your order.

What is the digital download add-on? +

For an extra R199, you receive a high-resolution digital file of your portrait. Perfect for using as a phone wallpaper, printing extra copies, or sharing with family.

Where are you based and do you ship nationwide? +

We're based in Cape Town, South Africa. We create and ship custom pet portraits nationwide — Cape Town door-to-door deliveries take 1–2 business days and nationwide deliveries to Johannesburg, Durban, Pretoria, and everywhere in between take 3–5 business days after dispatch. All orders come with a tracking number.

What kind of pets can you portrait? +

Any pet! We most commonly create dog portraits and cat portraits, but we've done rabbits, birds, horses, and more. If it has a face and you love it, we can portrait it.

By placing an order with Snoet Studio, you agree to provide accurate information and a suitable photo. Orders are processed once payment is confirmed. Snoet Studio reserves the right to decline orders that violate our guidelines. All portraits are custom-made and cannot be resold or reproduced without written permission.

Refund Policy +

Every order includes unlimited free revisions on your portrait preview — we work until you're completely happy. Because each portrait is custom-made just for you and your pet, we are unable to offer refunds once you have approved the final preview and production has begun. If there is a quality issue with the physical print or frame, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll make it right.

We collect only the information necessary to process your order (name, email, address, and your pet's photo). Your information is never sold or shared with third parties. Pet photos are used solely to create your portrait and stored securely. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@snoetstudio.co.za.

All portrait artwork created by Snoet Studio remains the intellectual property of Snoet Studio. Customers receive a licence to use and display their portrait for personal, non-commercial purposes. Snoet Studio reserves the right to use completed portraits in marketing materials (social media, website) unless you opt out by noting this at the time of order.
